dsk architects is a full service design firm based in San Francisco, California. For the past 35 years its principals have designed working, learning, living and healing environments with an emphasis on creative and sustainable solutions.
The nurturing of communities and their learning environments is a cornerstone to dsk architects' design principles.
Each project approach is unique to client vision while maintaining a sensitivity towards community and the environment at large.
Why we're Green
Almost all of dsk employees use public transportation and/or bicycles to travel to and from the office everyday. We have bicycle storage and a shower on the first level of our office. Our office is equipped with a charging station for Electric vehicles.
dsk has both a recycling and composting program for the office, with recycling bins for each desk and a compost bin for the kitchen.
All of the appliances and electronics in the office are energystar rated.
All of the lights in the office are on occupancy sensors, and daylighting from skylights and windows are the primary source of light during the day.
We are a paperless office. The paper that is used is SFI chain of custody certified and has recycled content.
90% of our office are LEED Accredited Professionals.
The dsk office uses low-flow toilets. Our cleaning supplies are low-toxic products.
