Since completing the Scottsdale Community College's culinary program in 1999, Tracy Dempsey has brought her unique take on composed desserts to Valley restaurants . Although the cuisine and style of the venues in which she's practiced her art have varied widely, by focusing on flavors and utilizing seasonal ingredients, successful dessert programs that combine both sweet and savory elements have been a consistent outcome.
We also boast a pretty sweet little retail space shared with ODV Wines. Stop in for a selection of desserts, confections, local products including Iconic Cocktail Mixers, Cutino's Hot Sauce, AZ Bitters Lab Bitters, the beloved Original Bacon Pecan Brittle.
Why We're Green
Sustainability is prioritized in the following ways:
-We support Arizona farmers by using locally sourced food items and hosting a Community Supported Agriculture program that provides seasonal produce for the community.
-We lift up fellow food producers by stocking our retail space with their products
-We are engaged with local nonprofits that focus on sustainable food policy
-Conserve energy by monitoring bills, having an energy audit performed, following a maintenance plan for AC and heating.
-Prevent pollution by avoiding chemical weed killers and chemical air fresheners
-Recycle all acceptable materials and compost organic materials, reuse cardboard inserts from wine deliveries to create retail space signage, offer incentives (aka cookies!) for customers who bring their own containers & bags, eliminated plastic water bottles plastic bags and Styrofoam
-Reduce transportation emissions by carefully planning deliveries
-Participate in the Tempe Grease Cooperative to ensure proper disposal of fats, oils and grease
-Conserve water by having a water audit performed and fixing leaks
