Cactus Jack's is on a mission to save the world, one drink, one entre at a time. It is our vision to allow our patrons to enjoy a wonderful meal with drinks where they do not have to be concerned about the waste it creates. Come in and sit creekside during the summers and fireside during the winters. Enjoy beautiful Bear Creek while sitting on our 2000 square foot deck. We strive to to have the highest standards for our kitchen. We use locally sourced foods, reduce food waste when possible and compost leftover food. Cactus Jacks also has live music on the patio on nice days and indoor concerts as well.
Why we're Green
Cactus Jack’s Composts! We save ALL the food waste from our kitchen and dining room until we can transport it to the local recycling center. Once it is transported to the local recycling it is picked up by A1 Organics and taken to their facility. After the completion of the compost, A1 Organics gives us free compost to use in our garden. We have recently switched from using glass products for our beer list to canned. Aluminum allows us to collect more without as many pickups (mountain living) and is recycled more than glass.
We would NOT be able to do the things we do without them. Composting is gross. It isn’t glamorous. Due to our efforts we have been able to cut our trash collection in half. That means all that food isn’t going into the landfill. Thank you Cactus Jack’s Employees!
