About
Breckenridge Brewery was founded in Breckenridge, Colorado in 1990 and was Colorado's third craft brewery. The main brewery now sits in Littleton and brews up to 90,000 barrels annually.
The brewing process starts at the brewhouse - de-husking our grains and sending them through three different grinders and filters. Then milled malts and grains become the foundation of our mash. The brew then goes through the mash tun, lauter tun, brew kettle, and whirlpool. From there, wort is transferred to fermentation tanks where it takes 2-4 weeks for wort to turn into beer.
Once the beer is aged, it goes into packaging via either the can, bottle, or keg line.
